Musk Ox
MUSK OX
We didn't do a great deal today, just "putzed about". We did a couple loads of laundry, Derek went fishing. He caught us some supper; not the char he was after, but some cod that were absolutely delicious.

We're calling tonight from a gathering at Norm's place. About 8 or 10 people have come over. We're looking at the videos we took on King William Island, and just having a nice, pleasant evening. We can run the video through the camera and onto the TV. It's nice to be able to see it right away. We've narrated it throughout, and it makes quite an interesting story. Norm has downloaded the web pages onto his computer (the Internet is very expensive up here) so the guests can also see that. They're getting a real "Show and Tell". Norm is a wonderful host - hopefully we can return the favour if he gets down to Toronto.

Sunset John MacDonald and I went looking for musk ox today. We found maybe a dozen, in twos and threes, and got some great close-up photographs. I got some pictures of Inukshuks as well.

Sitting here relaxing it all seems so far away; you wonder, "Were we really there?" It's 10:00 pm here, and the sun is just starting to set, putting on a show for us.

I guess this is our last report. We'll get the photos to you soon so you can add them to the website.
Thanks for all your hard work, we really appreciate it.
