PURPOSE: To explore the northwest coast of King William Island from Franklin Point to Little Point.
To refine hiking and camping strategies over an extended distance without outside support.
SUMMARY: The team hiked apporximately 90 miles over a 10 day period. Significant new Franklin era sites were discovered, documented and left undisturbed. Satellite telephone communication was pioneered in the area. Extensive video footage was made.
